A Message From Our GM

As the world steps into the new normal, the spirit of Tajness stands reinvigorated, driven by the supreme importance it places on the safety and delight of its guests. Tajness – A Commitment Restrengthened is a mark of assurance of IHCL’s authentic Indian hospitality, with an added comfort of safety and hygiene.

Created in accordance with the norms laid down by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Government of Britain, it reflects our assurance of safety and comfort for our guests and the well-being of our associates and partners.

Below is a summary some key protocols we have set in place:

  • Surfaces, fittings, fixtures, furniture, equipment, stationery, vehicles, cutlery, crockery, linen and laundry are religiously disinfected at regular intervals or upon every use
  • Hygiene kits (sanitizers. tissue papers, masks) will be provided at all interaction points for guests and associates to use;
  • Technology is used for seamless, yet personalized check-ins, check-outs and dining experiences. With digital payments and non-invasive thermal screening(for staff), the touch of care replaces the physical one
  • Hotels will maintain record of all guest and staff members attending and servicing each event
  • Associates will wear the prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, associates have easy and quick access to sanitization stations and protective equipment to keep themselves safe. Regular health checks and counselling support is also provided to ensure their physical and mental wellbeing
